Lately I've been having this weird in between feeling of happy and grateful for the baby that is continuing to grow inside of me, but also the knowing that we could have been planning a first birthday party right now.
It's a weird feeling because while part of me is still sad for the baby we lost and the fact that we aren't planning a birthday party right now, I am forever grateful for the baby that we have on the way. I also know that if our angel baby were here with us then our baby boy wouldn't be on his way.
